NBA Fines Joel Embiid Because They Hate the Process

15 grand for Joel Embiid is like me buying a Baconator at the Lansdale Wendy’s. Make it a large with a Coca Cola Classic.
This isn’t surprising, since they hate the Process, “they” being the NBA community at-large, but the thing that makes me curious is how Nick Nurse hasn’t been fined yet. Guy has done 4x the amount of complaining as Joel Embiid and somehow skates. Maybe it’s because the league is in cahoots with the Raptors and gives them special privilege. Canadian privilege.
No matter. The Sixers beat the Raptors in Game 5 and cover the spread… OUTRIGHT, as Mike Missanelli would say. Bum Embiid hand or not, there’s no way Toronto wins two in a row. If the Raptors force a Game 7 OR win this series, I’ll quit my job as Crossing Broad lead blogger and go work at the Aramingo Avenue Wawa, locating cigarettes for the customers.
