NBA Players Decide to Resume Playoffs

From Woj:

Woj says the postseason could resume as early as Friday, with players and owners set to meet later today.
So.. the boycott appears to be over. Did it accomplish anything?
In this case, Wednesday’s gesture would appear to be rather meaningless in the grander scheme of things, since there was opportunity to seize momentum and carry the boycott forward. However, the resumption of the playoffs means that these players’ platforms remain intact, and they can still embark on actionable changes, like the group LeBron James recently put together. Maybe the lesson here is that these guys can play basketball and still influence social justice issues at the same time.
