Nerlens Noel Name-Dropped Jumanji to TMZ Before News Broke of Robin Williams’ Death

Despite calling it “eerie,” which it isn’t — a coincidence, sure — Nerlens Noel name-dropped Jumanji to a TMZ Sports cameraman at Rucker Park yesterday (video link). Noel was originally asked what the most recent film to make him cry was, to which he didn’t have an answer, and was then asked what he’s got on his DVR. Noel responded:

“My DVR? I actually watched Jumanji the other day.”

According to TMZ, it was only an hour or so before news of Robin Williams’ death broke. While I’m sure Nerlens Noel felt weird about it, it was less “eerie” and more “TMZ asks dumb questions.”
