New Jersey Now Allowing Sports Teams to Return to Training and Competition

The Sixers play in Philly but train in Camden, so one would assume that they’re now green-lighted to resume practice facility operations as long as the NBA is cool with it. Same thing with the Flyers’ Skate Zone.

Regardless, it’s a great sign, because if a mid-Atlantic blue state like New Jersey is moving forward in this department, then it bodes well for a return to sports sooner rather than later. New York is also allowing sports to resume and most of the southern states have already lifted restrictions.

We’re getting closer.

Following today’s announcement by Gov. Murphy, the Philadelphia 76ers Training Complex in Camden, New Jersey will begin a phased reopening tomorrow for voluntary, individual workouts.
