Nick Nurse Should Demand Rand After Bad Officiating Causes Finger Injury

Possibly the dumbest thing to come out of Game 5:

Now Nurse is the second NBA coach to suffer an injury during these playoffs, and the second Philadelphia coach to require hand attention. Chris Finch tore the patellar tendon in his right knee during a sideline collision and John Tortorella showed up with a cast after bitch slapping Sherlock SanFilippo at a press conference.

What’s funny is that the Sixers’ offense was infinitely better without the marker gripping. They just gave the ball to Tyrese Maxey and ran 50 high middle pick and rolls in a row. Poor Miles McBride had to navigate a Joel Embiid screen every time down the floor for at least 10 minutes of game time. Nurse did dial up a nice backdoor cut on a sideline play, so I guess he didn’t need the finger or the marker for that one, did he?

What’s most important is that Nurse wouldn’t have hurt his hand if the incompetent refs just did their damn job. It was a bad call that forced him to slam his hand on the table in the first place. Therefore, I think we have a case against the NBA here. Hazardous work environment! Get OSHA on line 1.

If you or a family member have been injured in an accident, you will need a lawyer, but not just any lawyer. You need a Philadelphia Personal Injury Attorney that will listen to you and treat you like family.
