Take this with a grain of salt because Howard Eskin has been about as accurate this year as me pissing with a hangover into a medical assistance toilet. But King is reporting that Joshua Harris and his sweet homeboys are interested in buying the New Jersey Devils, which would cost about $200 million.

Because that’s totally the best PR move for the owners of Philadelphia team to buy one of the city’s most despised rivals. Not to mention the fact that North Jersey no longer has a basketball team and the Devils own their arena– you don’t need to be a Wall Street billionaire to speculate about what Harris might want to do with the Sixers.

No other details were given, but I can’t imagine this ends well for Harris if he’s forced to split the half hour per week he devotes to the Sixers with trying to explain hockey to Devils fans. Not smart for him, as owner of the Sixers, to even be linked to this.
