Chris Mannix at Sports Illustrated:

This would not be the worst move in the world.

Yes, Lue had LeBron James on his title-winning team, but he took over for David Blatt in late January and pulled together a squad that had strong and diverse personalities, like James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, and J.R. Smith. If he came to Philadelphia, you can believe he’d have success getting more out of Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid and perhaps bringing them to the next level. The Sixers need somebody to challenge their star players, which is just as important any on-court philosophy or in-game coaching.
