As reported by Cavaliers beat writer Chris Haynes:

After showing reported interest in some big-name guards, the Sixers have signed their third non-big-name guy in this free agency period. Henderson, a local guy, played last year in Portland where he averaged nearly nine points a game in about 20 minutes per in his first season coming off the bench. He spent the previous six seasons in Charlotte, where he kept pace with 15.7 points per 36, the same number he put up in Portland.

By locking Henderson in for a short-term deal, Bryan Colangelo again refuses to do what we all feared he’d do: screw up his future.

Kyle: Henderson has been dead to me ever since he chose Duke over Villanova.
