So to recap: Today Sam Hinkie traded Spencer Hawes, Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen for four second round picks (one of which he moved to LA for Byron Mullens), Eric Maynor and Danny Granger’s expiring contract [UPDATE: the Sixers also got a future second round pick from Indiana]. Yes. YES. This is how you rebuild. The Turner-Granger move will basically amount to a no-risk tryout for Granger, who has been coming off the bench for the Pacers this year after sitting out the early part of the season with a calf injury. He’s only 30 and a former all-star.

MEEP MEEP!

Turner will be teammates with Andrew Bynum once again. He made fun of him just the other day, via Delaware Online:

Grow also had a personalized No. 33 Sixers jersey hanging in the Philadelphia locker room before the game.

Casual observers may remember that number formerly belonged to Andrew Bynum.

“We had a guy last year who had number 33,” Sixers swingman Evan Turner said to Grow. “He never wore it. It’s yours.”

Burn it down, Sam. Burn. It. Down.
