If you’ve been through Fishtown in the past few months, you’ve seen the Matisse Thybulle mural painted on the side of Garage. You can’t miss it because it’s huge and it sits at an intersection with a lot of foot traffic.

The artwork was done by Philadelphia artist Gloss Black and celebrates Thybulle’s impact on and off the court. It also came paired with a charitable campaign, where the Sixers teamed up with Red Bull to donate $250 to the Philadelphia Parks and Rec department for every steal Matisse logged this season.

With 105 steals during his sophomore campaign, the charitable donation totaled $26,250.

But why stop there?

This is now being extended into the playoffs, and the Sixers/Red Bull are increasing their donation total to $500 per Thybulle steal.

Additionally, you can now buy custom-prints of the mural, with 100% of the proceeds also going to Parks and Rec. The prints are 18×24 and are going for $100 each at glossblack.org.
