Had to triple check to make sure it was the real Woj, and not Wojjespn, or Wojespnnn or something like that.
But yeah, don’t think anybody should be surprised by this. Doc inherited a second round team* and took them to the second round. He didn’t get any further than Brett Brown, which is really wild considering how down on Brett and how high on Doc people were three years ago. Rivers had two #3 seeds and one #1 seed and failed to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Hawks choke was horrendous, the Celtics choke was bad, and the Heat loss was whatever at this point.
This is the first domino to fall, now we’ll see how it affects James Harden’s decision on that player option.
*yeah, technically they were swept out of the first round the year prior
