Sixers Get New Court, Sort Of

Comcast Spectacor PR man Ike Richman tweeted this photo of the Sixers new court.  Notice anything different?  Me neither.

It's the same one.  Just new wood- like a Monday morning.

Here's a thought: Since they were getting a new floor, make it, oh I don't know… not ugly.  While it was a good move to switch back to the old colors last year, the execution has been horrendous. From the plain jerseys to the uber-bright floor that looks like negative Clippers east, the whole thing has been poorly done.

Perhaps a softer blue, like the one from the Croce era, or not lining the court with a Royal carpet that makes it look like an NCAA Tournament game is being played in King Henry's bedroom…
