The Sixers sent out a release on Thursday with the details for the upcoming reunion game:

PHILADELPHIA – JAN. 22, 2026 – The Philadelphia 76ers today announced details surrounding the 25th Anniversary Reunion Game, presented by Crypto.com, celebrating the iconic 2000-01 Eastern Conference Championship team. The reunion game will take place on Saturday, Jan. 31, as the 76ers take on the New Orleans Pelicans at Xfinity Mobile Arena with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Members of the 2000-01 squad will be on hand for the game’s festivities including Allen Iverson, Aaron McKie, Eric Snow, George Lynch, Jumaine Jones, Kevin Ollie, Speedy Claxton, Theo Ratliff, Todd MacCulloch, Rodney Buford, Pat Croce, Billy King, as well as mascot Hip-Hop. Alumni attendance is subject to change.

Throughout the night, the 76ers will honor the 25th anniversary of the organization’s Eastern Conference Championship season with a series of fan‑focused celebrations, beginning with a 76ers Hardwood Classic Pep Rally, presented by Coors Light, at Stateside Live.

The pregame event will feature Coors Light drink specials beginning at 4:30 p.m., followed by a meet‑and‑greet opportunity with a 2000-01 76ers player alum at 5:30 p.m. Fans in attendance will also enjoy ticket and 76ers/Coors Light swag giveaways, along with live performances by Squad 76 and the Sixers Stixers.

Prior to tipoff, the 76ers will recognize sports reporters and press members from the 2000-01 season whose work helped tell the story of that unforgettable run. Additionally, fans can look forward to a special bell ringer, promising a moment not to be missed.

Halftime will feature a center court tribute honoring the 2000-01 team. 76ers PA announcer Matt Cord will introduce the entire roster, while former 76ers broadcaster Marc Zumoff will serve as emcee. Zumoff will lead an engaging conversation with team members as they share favorite memories from their time in Philadelphia and reflect on the memorable season.

That’s a good group. It includes most of the guys who played significant minutes and a large amount of the games outside of Tyrone Hill, Matt Geiger, and Dikembe Mutombo, who passed in 2024. It’s nice to see Theo Ratliff included as well, since he was part of the midseason trade for Dikembe alongside Toni Kukoc and Nazr Mohammed. Younger fans might not know this, but Theo was injured about 50 games in and the Sixers made that move to be aggressive and reinforce the center position because Ratliff’s recovery timeline was lengthy. He’s spoken about how tough it was to be traded, calling it a “crushing blow” in a 2023 conversation with Gordie Jones.

Hopefully it’s a good night for him and for the other guys who were part of that team. What a great run it was. They even took a game off the Lakers before falling to one of the best NBA teams ever.
