T.J. McConnell Tried Really Hard to Pour Water on Dario Saric, Failed

Dario Saric is the Sixers’ best post-game interview. His tendency to ramble and take the questions very seriously, along with his tenuous grasp of the English language leads to some great moments.

Then, there’s T.J. McConnell pouring water on an unsuspecting Dario. It first led to an f-bomb into a live mic. Now, it leads to this look of exasperation:

But last night, hard as he tried, T.J. wasn’t able to get water to dump on Dario in Brooklyn:

Maybe it’s for the best. For all of his effort – look at how scrappy he gets laying out for those cups – T.J. either snagged Red Bull or yellow Gatorade in Red Bull-branded cups. They don’t quite have the same lighthearted-prank status as good ol’ H20, and I’m not sure we’re ready for Dario’s reaction to Red Bull being dumped on his head. We’d probably learn some new Croatian swear words though.
