By now you know that Boban and Tobias Harris have been close friends over the years, having bounced around the NBA together.
Marjanovic came to Philly with Harris last year in the Clippers trade. They started together in Detroit, where they were eventually shipped to Los Angeles as part of the Blake Griffin deal.
Unfortunately, Boban just does not have the skill set to help the Sixers make a deep playoff run. He was very good in the Brooklyn series, but didn’t have the mobility to be effective against the Raptors. He’ll now play on the same team as Kristaps Porzingis, which means the Mavs can roll out two 7’3″ guys at the same time. Crazy.
