For the first time in his career, Corey Brewer has signed a 10-day contract. The Sixers made the deal official this afternoon:

The process trusters among us are certainly delighted by the return of the 10-day contract, though I’m a bit surprised it’s come to this for Brewer. The financial ramifications are minimal:

Brewer last played in the NBA during the 2017-18 season for the Lakers and Thunder, averaging 5.3 points per game to go along with 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 16.8 minutes per game. If you were hoping to see him shoot the long ball, don’t. He’s a 28.3% shooter from deep for his career. On a positive note, he brings the Sixers a reliable option if called upon. At least he’s better than the empty 15th roster spot the team has been carrying for quite some time.
