Veteran leadership, I guess? By coming on board – and assuming there’s no trade – he’s taking up a roster spot from one of the fringe guys (Holmes, McConnell, Stauskas) who play thinner positions (except Richaun) and are much, much younger. But why else could the Sixers have brought him on? To officially retire? Stand-in for Franklin? Be a player/coach? Be a coach/player? Is Jah still borrowing his car? WHAT’S GOING ON?
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
