The Sixers Season Opener Did Humongous Numbers

Clap your hands everybody, for massive ratings.
The Sixers pulled “humongous big” numbers last night, as Ilya Bryzgalov would say.
TV notes:
- Pregame Live = 1.0 household (highest Pregame Live household average before an opening night that NBC Sports Philadelphia has done in station history)
- local broadcast = 4.9 household on NBCSP
- national broadcast = ESPN did a 3.1 household
- Sixers Postgame = 1.5 household
- Sixers Outsiders = 0.7 household
That 4.9 household number on the local broadcast is the highest opening game HH rating on NBC Sports Philadelphia in more than 15 years, when a 2003 game against Miami pulled a 5.3 number.
Streaming notes:
- 25.2k uniques (up 53% from the first game last year)
- 1.6 million live minutes (up 71% from first game last year)
The Sixers have juice right now. A lot of juice.
