Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid Both on the Top-Selling NBA Jersey List

This dropped on Tuesday morning:

Good for Tyrese. He’s a rising star and it’s nice to see his name on there with guys like Damian Lillard and Luka Doncic and Devin Booker.
Also kind of surprised to see him listed above Embiid. My first thought was that if you wanted an Embiid jersey, you probably already bought it, and maybe you bought it locally and not from the NBA store. Tyrese’s emergence is still rather fresh, and there’s obviously gonna be a wave of buyers that goes beyond the Philadelphia region. There was probably more demand for Maxey’s jersey with the way this season began, and wouldn’t necessarily indicate that he’s the more popular player than Embiid. Both Joel and Jokic are outside of the top 10.
Oh yeah, by the way, the Sixers are on a three-game losing skid and Embiid hasn’t played in the last two. The Flyers are on a five-game skid. Will either team ever win another game?
