Who Says No? Let’s Use the NBA Trade Proposal Machine

Tomorrow is the NBA trade deadline, and you know what that means.

It’s time for social media GMs to share their best proposals using the trade machine.

You probably see it out there, people sharing all sorts of wild and crazy graphics showing off theoretical trades they were able to come up with, stuff they spent time on while sitting there in study hall, or ignoring their college professor, or procrastinating between Crossing Broad blog posts.

Here’s a good one I saw this morning:

This is an interesting trade. OKC running out four point guards with Frank Kaminsky in the paint has potential. Kevin Love finds a way out of Cleveland and we’ve got Devin Booker getting a fresh start with the Thunder.

Good trade.

Here’s another one:

This is very intriguing to me.

You could theoretically build a starting Sixers lineup of:

  • LeBron James
  • Ja Morant
  • Anthony Davis
  • Ben Simmons
  • Joel Embiid

Who says no to that?

Here’s another proposal:

Agreed. I can’t see why not. This trade would be complicated, but I think all four teams would benefit from this.

Who says no?

And here’s an idea I came up with. I’m about to press the “try this trade” button:

It didn’t work.

Unfortunately, it was rejected.

If you’ve got some time today, though, I encourage you to put together some theoretical trades and then share them on Twitter.

(this entire story is sarcasm, thank you)
