On Sunday night, the Atlanta Hawks will play host to the Milwaukee Bucks for Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Finals series.
Let’s take a closer look at the top Bucks vs. Hawks Game 3 player prop picks and make some predictions for this June 27, 2021 NBA Playoffs matchup.
Bucks vs. Hawks Game 3 Player Props (June 27, 2021)
The Eastern Conference Finals series between the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks has truly been a tale of two games thus far. The Hawks traveled to Milwaukee for the first contest of the series after toppling the Philadelphia 76ers on the road in Game 7. If conventional wisdom would have led many to expect a dip in performance from the visiting Hawks, then Game 1’s 116-113 upset victory was a stunner. However, the home Bucks were completely and utterly dominant in Game 2, blowing out Atlanta by 34 points in a 125-91 victory.

Game 6 Best Bets |
---|
Jrue Holiday to Score 20+ Points (-120, BetMGM) |
Devin Booker to Score 30+ Points and Make 3+ Three-Pointers (+220, FanDuel Sportsbook) |
Pat Connaughton to Make Over 1.5 Three-Point Field Goals (-222, FOX Bet) |
The Bucks were led in Game 2 by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who posted 25 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals in only 29:06 of game action. Jrue Holiday (22), Brook Lopez (16), and Khris Middleton (15) were also able to reach double figures in limited minutes. The question ahead of Game 3 is whether or not they can replicate their dominance from Game 2.
The Hawks looked out of sorts throughout Game 2, including their young star Trae Young, who shot just 6-16 from the field, totaling a mere 15 points. John Collins (11) and Cam Reddish (11) were the only other Hawks able to post double-digit point totals. It would be in Atlanta’s best interest to burn the tape after Game 2 and prepare for a chance to take at least one of the next two games in front of their home crowd at the State Farm Arena.
Which team will take an important 2-1 series lead?
John Collins to Record Over 9.5 Rebounds (+105, BetMGM)
Sometimes a player prop comes around at odds that are too enticing to pass up. Getting Atlanta forward John Collins to record over 9.5 rebounds at +105 odds is one such occurrence. Collins raised his rebounding game starting with Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Philadelphia 76ers, recording 10 rebounds for the first time in seven postseason games. Two games later, Collins began a streak of five consecutive games with at least 10 rebounds.
While Collins only secured 8 rebounds in Game 2 in Milwaukee, keep in mind that he did so in just 24:02 of game action. That’s a pace of one rebound every three minutes. Collins is averaging 12 rebounds per game over his last six games, including five performances in which he pulled down at least 10 rebounds.
With the opportunity to take a 2-1 series lead in front of their home fans, expect Collins and Clint Capela to be beasts on the boards.

Clint Capela to Record a Double-Double (-155, DraftKings Sportsbook)
Hawks center Clint Capela has had some excellent playoff performances throughout his team’s 14-game run. Capela has finished with double-digit points in 9 of 14 postseason games, while he’s registered at least 10 rebounds in 10 of 14 playoff games.
This postseason, Capela has compiled seven double-doubles, including two in his last four games. Most recently, Capela put up a 12-point, 19-rebound double-double in Game 1 of this Eastern Conference Finals series against the Bucks.
The best thing going for this market is the fact that Capela has registered five of his seven double-doubles this postseason at home in front of the Hawks crowd. In fact, since the Hawks have been the lower seed in each series they’ve played, that means that Capela has recorded a double-double in every home playoff game for the Hawks.
Given his success on the boards and how well Atlanta has played at home, this bet based on the output of the Hawks center is solid value at -155 odds.

Brook Lopez to Make 2+ Three-Pointers (+136, FanDuel Sportsbook)
On the surface, it might seem a bit crazy to consider taking a visiting center to connect on multiple three-pointers, but there’s reason to believe this market could hit. Bucks center Brook Lopez has worked diligently to extend his range on the court and it’s paid dividends as of late.
Lopez is coming off a 16-point performance in just 23:02 of action in Game 2 in which he went 3-5 from downtown. That marked the second time in three games he hit at least 3 three-pointers. Overall, Lopez has hit multiple three-point field goals in five of his last eight games, including each of his last three road playoff games.
Given the outrageous odds being offered on a number of guards to hit an unreasonable number of shots from beyond the arc, the best value lies with Brook Lopez to make 2 or more three-pointers on Sunday night.
