North Carolina Hit Temple with a Variation of the Philly Special

Bad bowl game loss for the Owls.
They got smoked 55-13 by North Carolina, giving up 534 yards in the process.
The defense tried to hang in there, but didn’t get a lot of help from the offense and special teams unit, which combined for two missed field goals, a blocked extra point, a pick six, and a lot of negative or no-gain 1st and 2nd down plays. North Carolina receivers pulled off two NFL-level touchdown catches and Anthony Russo was later pulled for Todd Centeio.

Not exactly the Philly Special, but close enough. It’s a pseudo-Philly Special.
Temple finishes 8-5, a pretty good season ending on a sour note.
