I hate to say it, but the Temple Owls lost the game at the tailgate. Watching this guy do a full somersault on concrete as the Temple T logo shining front and center as an Oklahoma Sooner train kept chugging along was a perfect analogy of what we saw yesterday. If we were going to pull off the greatest upset in college football history we needed everyone to be perfect. Unfortunately we were not. We still were able to get some awesome footage from the sideline, fan interviews in the middle of the game, and rival bands subbing in. Shout out to Temple for making it happen!

I definitely went into that game thinking we could compete. I thought we’d at least cover. We did not. It was over once John Mateer converted the 3rd and 19 in the first quarter. Still I’m not giving up on KC Keeler and the guys. This is a bowl team, which is all you can ask for after five years of less than inspiring football. I know they couldn’t get in the endzone once. You wouldn’t understand it if you didn’t watch the Rod Carey and Stan Drayton years. Those teams would’ve given up by the first half. These guys played until the final whistle. We’re so back baby. I’m already done the thinkable and called next week’s game against Georgia Tech a trap game. We’re onto Atlanta. So what we’re not SEC material. I already knew that. You know who else isn’t SEC material? Martha Stewart. Go Owls. I’ll see you in the Bad Boy Lawnmowers Bowl against Conference-USA and I’ll be smiling from ear to ear.

One more time for the road because it makes me laugh every time:
