Beasley put out a press release the other day:

Philadelphia, PA (May 20, 2026): Beasley Media Group announces Chuck Damico will assume Program Director responsibilities for WXTU-FM in Philadelphia following the retirement of longtime Brand Manager and Program Director Mark “Razz” Radziewicz. Damico will officially begin his new role on May 23, 2026.

Damico currently serves as Program Director of Philadelphia’s iconic rock stations, WMMR-FM and WMGK-FM, where he has played a key leadership role in the continued success and evolution of both brands. In his expanded role, he will add oversight of WXTU-FM, one of the nation’s premier Country radio stations.

(some generic quotes here)

This is funny because Beasley has seven Philadelphia radio stations and Damico is now PD at three of them, so that’s 42.8% of the local portfolio. He was previously the program director at 97.5 the Fanatic from 2020 to 2023, and then was moved back to WMMR, where he was assistant PD previously. Scott Masteller has been the Fanatic’s program director ever since.

Whenever we talk to people about the Fanatic or WMMR, they have a lot of nice things to say about Damico. It seems like he’s respected as a Philly radio guy. All he needs now is to be named program director at Ben FM, WWDB, and Playa 102.9 to complete his Infinity Gauntlet* –

*do those stations even have program directors, or are they automated and managed by robots? we will ask

EDIT – I am told Damico was previously Ben FM PD, back in the day, so the Infinity Gauntlet might already be complete
