Day 4 of the Great Philly Strike: LL Cool J Pulls Out and the Mayor Crashes Out

LL Cool J pulled out of the Wawa Welcome to America concert today on the Parkway because of the DC33 strike:
How much longer can the mayor play around before she screams, “Uncle”? There are zero people in this city on her side. You know how hard it is in this day and age for the majority of people to agree with each other? Everyone is on the same page. Pay these people their money and lets get the trash moving again. That sewage twang is wafting in the air, people are seeing rats the size of Scabby. The city looks like a clown show. How much longer does she have to keep getting embarrassed before someone in her cabinet jumps in and just says do the deal? And listen I get it if people are keeping their mouth’s shut. I wouldn’t want the gravy train to end either. I saw the six figure salaraies of all of those jobs she created out of thin air in her executive branch. If I was the Deputy Mayor of the Executive Assistant’s Communications Director I’d shut my mouth and cash the checks too. But guess what? You’re going to have that job for one term at this rate. You know how hard it is to have a one term mayor in Philly? Even Jim Kenney got two terms. The last time this city had a mayor that didn’t go back to back was in 1984 and that’s because the incumbent decided not to run again. This on top of the Center City stadium disaster all in less than six months is a tough pill to swallow. Selling out neighborhoods and refusing to pay the poorest union in the city is not going to win you votes.
You can even tell it’s getting to her as she’s crashing out in front of reporters over the rumors that she gave herself a 9% raise this year:
Ngl, I’m dying at this mid-crashout:
