Fat Croatia Fans Say American Food is Too Heavy, and that Portion Sizes are Too Large
This is a great video from Vito:
According to the first guy, Toronto is a more beautiful city than Philadelphia, which is whatever. Dude’s got his opinion, and if you’ve ever met someone from Eastern Europe, you know that they are hilariously blunt. They always call it how they see it. They definitely do not bullshit you.
But the comments about food are incredible. The food is “too heavy,” says the guy who looks like he weighs 235 pounds. Then the second guy, with his lanyard curving over a noticeable belly, says our portions are too big and that we have too much fast food here.
“From Europe we eat more efficient,” which is generally true, but not in this case. This guy looks like he’s been stuffing his face with Crni rizot and Zagorski strukli. These complaints make no sense, like they’re antithetical or illogical or whatever the word is. They lack congruence. It would be like Russ Joy going to Sheetz and complaining that there’s not enough fried food on the menu. Or you walk into a Frankford Avenue thrift store and then file a complaint because the clothing has been worn by someone else.
