Today is Prime Day. Actually, it started last night and I bought three early access deals on Alexa before 9 p.m. because I’m a dedicated psycho. Five-pack of Haribo Gummy Bears? Check. Vegan vanilla protein shakes? Check. Another Echo for my parents, who can barely use their iPhones and will assuredly get into verbal altercations with Alexa, because it was only $90 and HOW COULD I NOT GET IT? Would you like me to order that for you? Oh you know it.

That’s where we are. We’re in a brief holding pattern after I seriously considered the deal of day Amazon Prime co-branded 55-inch 4k TV for only $399 (regularly $650), but the wife vetoed it when I woke her at 11 p.m. to ask if she wanted a bigger bedroom TV. I thought about going rogue, but self-preservation got the best of me.

So many good deals. There’s an $11 bike seat I’m thinking about buying. I DON’T EVEN OWN A BIKE! But it’s only $11(!!!) and has four and a half stars on 590 reviews. But for real, I’d seriously recommend getting an Echo Dot– there’s on sale for $35 and a great value.
