Amazon FireTV products are on huge discount, and for the money you can’t beat them. The only way I wouldn’t recommended one of these is if you’re a YouTubeTV user, since Amazon and Google are in a pissing match that has removed all canonical YouTube products from FireTV for the time being. Otherwise, this is an excellent deal.
If you’ve been thinking about getting a Ring, now is the time. Amazon recently bought Ring, so you can count on their services becoming more intertwined. I have a Ring doorbell and it’s outstanding. The only thing you might want to do is have a professional install it since it’s hardwired in (though there are battery options on other models). Highly recommended. If nothing else, it’s fun to mess with your wife while she’s watering the flowers by chiming out with your best Darth Vadar impression from the shitter. [Note: She does not like this and yours won’t either.]
