“New Chapter in my life . I fell in love with my adopted city of Philadelphia , however after muggings , attacks & misrepresentation , malicious targeting by unethical so called “journalist “ for years which now has done severe damage to me personally & professionally. It leaves me no choice to move from the city I once fell in love with . Will miss my Eagles , Phillies, Flyers , Sixers & some great friends . To W.Palm beach & will open in 2026 Blacklabel luxury with building in Delray ( Seen in photo ) . Philly has changed & not for the good . I feel like an unwanted stranger to this city & the verbal attacks that I receive for doing NOTHING but trying to be kind & old school class kills me, a lot of it directed at me because I’m a Trump supporter to be honest . We will become extremely successful once again in a Bigger & Better way & client pipeline being from Philly , NewYork & W. Palm .The official launch date to be determined in the winter of 2026 . Love you all .. well most of you 🙂 The finale (sic) chapter will be one to remember !”
Well this is quite the pivot. An unexpected bit of news. At last check, Bolaris was going to file lawsuits against Philly Mag in an effort to take down Victor Fiorillo (I still don’t see anything in the court system). Now he’s up and leaving for Florida? And he’s being verbally abused for supporting Donald Trump? Say it ain’t so!
Maybe a fresh start is in the cards. John Bolaris has been through more in the last 20 years than you and I will experience in a lifetime. There was the Storm of the Century forecast, the Playboy profile story, and his engagement live on Howard Stern’s show. He was supposed to box Lindsay Lohan’s dad and had a brief run with a $500-per-month weather service. He was blacklisted by WIP and hoodwinked, bamboozled, and led astray by Eastern European hookers in Miami, which resulted in Bolaris helping to take down a multinational crime ring. The guy has seen it all. Maybe its time to settle down and relax in West Palm Beach, aka “The Secane of the South.”
