Ahead of UFC 330 this Saturday in South Philly:

“Hey brother, you know what we’re gonna eat now? Philly cheesecake. Philly steak? Cheesesteak. In my room, it’s already everything is hot, ready. But everybody invited except one guy… He don’t need this.”

That’s Islam Makhachev who is not invited. He can’t eat Philly cheesecake OR Philly cheesesteak because he has to weigh in on Friday morning ahead of his 170-pound title defense against Ian Machado Garry. But Khabib retired at 29-0 and can eat whatever he wants.

If we’re being honest with ourselves, by the way, Philly is a good cheesecake city. Tons of good bakeries and dessert places around here. I believe there is even a cheesecake lady up in the Jenkintown area. Cheesecake is somewhat underrated, as is key lime pie, which I don’t think counts as cheesecake but is very close in consistency, and especially quality.

By the way, Islam is a -350 favorite on Saturday night. The only Philly fighter on the card is Jeremiah Wells, who opens the early prelims as a +700 underdog. That’s fugazi bro!
