Mike Missanelli vs. JAKIB Media Headed for a Jury Trial
Brief update here on the court battle between Mike Missanelli and JAKIB Media owner Joe Krause.
The judge presiding over the case ruled that the looming trial will have a jury:

This is a victory for Krause, who wanted a jury trial and filed a motion back in January to strike a non-jury Praecipe filed by Missanelli’s lawyer, Kevin Wright.
Both sides were in agreement that the case should go to trial, but split on what kind of trial it should be.
In the recent filing, Krause included an email he sent to Wright, in which he said:
“I do not object to certifying this matter for trial; however, I object to any Trial Praecipe being filed that designates “Jury Trial: No.” I am requesting a jury trial, and I do not consent to a non-jury listing. Accordingly, you do not have my affirmative consent to file any Trial Praecipe that lists this matter as non-jury.“
There’s nothing in the court system listing a trial date, which, presumably, is the next order of business. They’ll have to go through jury selection, opening statements, etc – the typical process, and by the time this concludes, it will be almost two full years since Mikey Miss filed the lawsuit back in August of 2024.
Missanelli alleges that he’s owed more than $50,000 for work he performed on JAKIB Media’s Philadelphia Eagles’ postgame YouTube show. Krause has maintained from the very beginning that Missanelli did not sign his contract, nor did he perform all of the duties required by the contract. He’s filed a handful of motions asking for judgment in his favor, which judge Jeffrey Saltz denied, ultimately leading to trial.
