RADIO WARS: Joe DeCamara Is Out at 97.5

Joe “The Hammer” DeCamara is out at 97.5, effective immediately. He told the station today that he was leaving.
There is already (obvious) speculation that he may head to WIP. The station has an afternoon vacancy to fill, and sources say Michael Barkann’s pricey contract is up later this year within a year and many expect that it won’t be renewed.
There have been rumors that Adam The Bull, a Cleveland sports talk radio host, was in the running for the afternoon job at WIP, but I’m hearing that’s not true.
There is a reshuffling of the ranks. The war drums are beating again. THE MUSIC PLAYS:
