Like LeBron before him, Josh Innes did all he wanted to do in a new city and is now returning home triumphant, or something. Innes took to Twitter to announce his new gig just now:
I'm coming home. Monday 10/10 3pm "The Josh Innes Show" debuts on @SportsTalk790 in Houston.

I'm glad to be back home. I wanted to be somewhere close to my family.

2015 we were #1 in the spring and fall books. We were #2 in the summer. I believe 💯that if Bloom wasn't let go we'd still be on top.

I think we had too many cast changes on the show. Too much upheaval at the building. Losing my ally didn't help.

Innes previously worked at 610 AM in Houston, 790’s rival station. According to the Houston Chronicle, it looks like 790 may have dumped longtime host Charlie Pallilo to slot Innes into drive-time. Houston might need their own maestro. Tunes:

When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
