Chooooooooooooch!

First he got the job as Eagles defensive coordinator, now Phillies catcher Carlos Ruiz is rumored to be joining the Union.

Different Carlos Ruiz, folks.

According to this Guatemalan website– and we all know how reliable foreign websites can be– the Guatemalan Ruiz, who most recently played in Greece, will be joining the Union.

After seven months of a relationship with Aris Thessaloniki, a team in the Greece Super League, Carlos Ruiz reached an agreement to rescind the contract that bound him for two years. However, in the next few hours he is expected to be presented at his new club, the Philadelphia Union of the MLS.

Cool.

Soccer- over.
