The Madden 27 Soundtrack is… Honestly Pretty Good
The Madden soundtrack is out:
“Really happy that madden is straying from featuring artists like Fleshlight and YBG Dong ft. Yung Dookie and decided to make an actual respectable soundtrack with good music,” wrote Packers scribe Zach Jacobson on X.
I agree with Mr Jacobson. I expected Madden 27 to feature artists like YBG Dong and Yung Dookie, but we got a very diverse soundtrack that spans decades. This is about as good as it gets for a playlist because there is something for everyone.
For old school hip hop heads, you have Warren G, Nas, Naughty by Nature, T.I., and DMX.
For Gen X and Millennials who grew up listening to Y100 there is Stone Temple Pilots, 311, Incubus, and Lit.
For people who like heavier music, there’s Helmet, Lamb of God, Motorhead, Trivium, White Zombie, Metallica, and Underoath.
For the boomers, or people who just like good music in general, they have The Who and Styx.
There’s some modern stuff on here too, like Ella Langley and Bad Bunny and Leon Thomas.
And for people who like complete horseshit masquerading as “garage rock,” the White Stripes are on the playlist also.
Something for everyone! Good variety.
Nice job, Madden 27 playlist curators.
