What Were You Doing at Age 14? Probably Not Playing Pro Sports Like Cavan Sullivan

What were you doing at 14? Cavan Sullivan is playing professionally in MLS. Me? I was putting a virus on the family computer so unforgivable it took my dad 30 minutes just to print out MapQuest directions for our vacation. I’m convinced it was those virus pop-ups that used to freeze the screen that put him in an early grave. Some people at 14 were like me. Others? Not so much:

What a cameo. We had local content guys, a former Bachelorette contestant, and a professional soccer player in one video. What more can you ask for?
I know people probably have some questions about the one woman who said, “Losing my friends.” Good news, I asked her after her take. Apparently they were mean, but she said she was also mean. Little inside baseball for ya. Glad we cleared that up.
Also, this has terrific meme potential:
A little behind the scenes: Cavan was filming a commercial for Raising Cane’s and doing some activation with fans on Temple’s campus. The kid is amazing not just on the field. I don’t know if he’s going to be any good, but I was really impressed by how mature he seemed at a young age and how he approached the entire shoot. For 2+ hours he had a million people feeding him lines, an entire camera crew in his face doing take after take, and fans outside in the hot sun wanting to get ahold of him and he handled it all like it was nothing. Not to mention there were like a hundred police officers there. It was like Taylor Swift was coming. If you gave me millions of dollars at 14 I would’ve ended up in a ditch. This kid is about to go win EPL titles with the best club team in the world and he couldn’t even drive himself to the store. It’s pretty easy to find a way to root for him.
Ahead of his years. After Cavan Sullivan is asked about being the youngest @raisingcanes employee ever he ponders if it could be another income stream post retirement 😅 pic.twitter.com/BxvRTJofdk
