St. Joe’s alumni, professor and VP of Marketing Communications Joe Lunardi has the Hawks as one of the last four teams in and Villanova (still) as a one seed in the East in his latest Bracketology:

Kind of surprised Nova is still a one seed. Honestly, they probably don’t deserve it and, once all the games shakeout this weekend, will probably fall to the two spot. And as long as they get to play in New York, I really don’t care. The brackets are allegedly made on an S curve. Chances are Nova was going to be the fourth one seed, so, in theory, they could drop to the first two and wind up in a bracket with the fourth one and essentially be matched up with the same top 5 team anyway. But New York will be almost a home game (so long as they don’t play Syracuse)… and an easy travel destination for yours truly– just take the Keystone Express from the Main Line to MSG!*

As for St. Joe’s? Yeah, I think they deserve to be in.

*Kidding. I don’t live on the Main Line. Buy more t-shirts and then we’ll talk.
