Villanova Is In The Final Four Again

I’ve got to be honest, I wasn’t even worried. I’m not trolling either– I just expected them to win. After that lukewarm start, Villanova asserted themselves over a Texas Tech squad that, quite frankly, looked overmatched.

Now the real fun begins– Duke or Kansas. Jay Wright with another chance to establish his dominance over Bill Self, or dole out another beatdown to Coach K. I prefer Kansas at this point, mostly because I think Jay’s hamster runs circles around whatever small marsupial occupies Self’s head, say nothing of the one on top of it.

Jay Wright now 3-1 in regional finals. Lost his first one to Florida in 2006 but has won his last three – Pitt in 2009, Kansas in 2016, Texas Tech in 2018.
