The NY Post is reporting that Villanova's JayVaughn Pinkston could be suspended four games to start the season. Take this with a grain of salt: [NY Post]
A source said Pinkston was locked in the laundry room at the [practice] facility by two males. The 6-foot-7, 260-pound 18-year-old broke the door down and allegedly got involved in an altercation with the two at a nearby party, a source told The Post.
Another source said Pinkston was involved in a fight at a party and that "it was bad."
Don't go believing the first part of that. I'm hearing that the entire incident took place at an off-campus frat party in Wayne.
Either way, Pinkston got into a fight at a party. He punched another student and that kid wound up in the hospital. Police were then called to the hospital to investigate an assault charge. That's about all we know for sure right now.
