Jay Wright reacting to Kris Jenkins’ game-winning three-pointer will be the standard against which all reactions will be judged from here on out. Most believe he dropped a “bang” (or a “bam”) just as the ball left Jenkins’ hand.
We can now confirm “bang.”
Thanks to excellent work by 6 ABC’s Jeff Skversky, who got Wright after the game and was apparently the first to show him a replay of the shot, with his family by his side, we now have confirmation of the “bang” uttered on the sideline.
Watch as Jay, who genuinely appeared to be in some sort of shock after the game, can’t leave coach-mode and, ONCE AGAIN, drops a “bang”:
