Jason Kelce Addresses Fake News Coming from the Green Bay Packers Organization

Packers President Mark Murphy was quoted in a recent article talking about the tush push. He mentioned Jason Kelce, who hopped on social media to issue a correction. Note that Jason directs his correction at Bills owner Terry Pegula, but the ensuing highlighted quote is from Murphy:
I think the good gentleman from Buffalo appears to have misunderstood my meaning of the word grueling, I have never called the play dangerous. If the NFL wishes to summon me for legitimate thoughts on the tush push under oath, I’d be glad to give my testimony. pic.twitter.com/WKhRMLa47b

Jordan Mailata has the same stance on the tush push. There was the candid moment coming into the locker room when he told Pete Davidson that he’s “tired of that fucking tush push, son.” But none of the Eagles linemen have come out expressing any kind of injury concern, they are basically echoing Kelce in saying that it kind of sucks to run. Probably because it’s a high-leverage situation with a lot of bodies winding up on top of you. It’s grueling and difficult and taxing and whatever other synonyms exist.
A quick Googling reveals that the story comes from ESPN’s Kalyn Kahler. It’s got a lot of good insight into how owners and other NFL folks went about the process that ultimately resulted in a tabling of the proposed tush push ban.
