Chip Kelly Apparently Declined a Wedding Invite with a Handwritten Note

I have no idea what’s real today. Lots of corny April Fools jokes going around… but this looks legit, seeing as though it showed up on the interwebs yesterday on CBS Sports. Somehow we missed it.
Chip Kelly was invited to a wedding by a couple that has almost zero self-respect evidenced by the fact that they sent out football-themed invites. Kelly, always the unconventional, replied via handwritten note:
The thing that jumps out to me here is the word invite. Does Chip… not know how to spell invite? I’m pretty sure he kicked things off with an O. I mean, not that I can really fault the guy. I struggle so much with hand-writing words and do it so infrequently that I routinely have trouble signing restaurant receipts (I’m only about 22% joking– I can’t write anymore). Anyway, this is about the most Chip has said about the Eagles’ offseason plans thus far, and for that Jeff Mclane thanks him.
