Dipshits on TV may have argued that Ersan Ilyasova and Marco Belinelli were somehow KEY COGS in the Sixers’ path forward, but those guys always felt like short-term Bryan Colangelo rental players.

Indeed they were.

Ilyasova agreed to a three-year, $21 million deal with the Bucks, home of Donte DiVincenzo and the Greek Freak. Combined, the trio will form the Mediterranean Connection™ with a combined 21 vowels in their names. Let’s see how those results play out, Wes Edens.

Meanwhile, Marco Belinelli, upset that he, too, can’t dine on fresh tomatoes and smattering of curdled cheeses, will return to San Antonio, agreeing to a two-year, $12 million deal and giving further credence to the notion that the Spurs like just six slightly old, mostly bald players in the league.
