Like Jeff Carter on a Saturday night…

If you missed last night's Flyers game, consider yourself lucky.

The Flyers led 4-1 with 12 minutes remaining in the game.  The Sharks then scored three goals in the span of four and a half mintues to tie it at four, thanks to several penalties taken by the Flyers.

The score remained that way throughout the rest of regulation.  In overtime, with seconds remaining, Mike Richards fired a wrist shot at the net that slipped through Antero Niittymaki's pads. But it was literally an inch away from the goal line as the clock went to zero.  The Flyers lost in the ensuing shootout and, more bothersome, BOB is beginning to look very average.  Uh oh.

Full highlights after the jump and Stevie Why's recap at Philly Sports Daily.
