I didn’t see the Flyers game last night. Therefore, I didn’t see any of their goals.

Oh, wait. Neither did you.

I didn’t miss anything. Ms. CB and I received some passes to a pre-screening of This Means War, and, while chick-flicky, the movie was legitimately funny and entertaining. And Reese Witherspoon walked around in short, sexy skirts for two hours. As for the Flyers, it seems, they were neither entertaining nor sexy. According to the post game notes, the Flyers had 86 attempts on goal – 45 shots, 24 others that were blocked, and 17 that missed the net – plus two shootout chances, and they were unable to beat Evgeni Nabokov.

Bryz recorded his 25th career shutout… but then promptly turned into his usual shootout self. This was the first time in over six years that the Flyers played in a 0-0 tie that went to a shootout.

We’d have more, but, um, not much happened. Zero divided by zero is zero. Full game notes, a highlight reel of Nabokov saves and post-game quotes, courtesy of the Flyers, are over on the deuce.
