The Sixers have traded slammin Sammy Dalembert. Was that not the most undeserved nickname perhaps in the history of sport? If you have a better one, I'd like to know.
Multiple sources are reporting that the Sixers have traded Slamuel (ya know, for short) to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Andres Nocioni and Spencer Hawes.
Nocioni averaged 8.5 PPG and 3.0 RPG last season, while Hawes averaged 10.0 PPG and 6.1 RPG.
Actually like this move for the Sixers. Nocioni is experienced and has a great name and Hawes has some upside.
