At least according to the New York Post.

Earlier this week, we told you about the possible suspension of Villanova's JayVaughn Pinkston, after he got into a fight at an off-campus party over the weekend. Last night, Pinkston was formally charged with two counts each of simple assualt and harrassment.

The NY Post is reporting that a jealous frat boy locked Pinkston (a boxer in high school) in a laundry room during a (love this) romantic encounter. Yes, the romance level is usually high atop the washing machine, I wonder if it was lined with rose petals?  [NY Post]

"[The frat guy] propped a chair against the door so they couldn't get out, but eventually he did get out," the witness said. "He [Pinkston] was [mad], but nothing became of it at the time. He was just yelling."

The confrontation continued when Pinkston and his friends were waiting for a ride outside the house. That's when two fraternity members told Pinkston and his group "either to go back inside or leave the property," according to the party-goer.

"[The first frat brother] was taunting him [about the laundry room], said it was disrespectful and then Jayvaughn turned around and punched [him] in the face," the witness said. "[He] started bleeding a lot. It turned into a whole brawl. . . . Someone hit [the second frat brother] and he went unconscious. He woke up before he went to the hospital."

Sounds like JayPink stole the fratty's lady.

Of course, being taunted by a douchey frat brother would be justification for juuust about any violent act that followed- so we can't really blame Pinkston.

The length of his suspension has not been determined.  No word on if the frat brother is still a douche.

Villanova tips off their season tonight at home against Bucknell.
