We kind of expected this one. You didn’t think the NHL wasn’t going to milk this for everything it was worth, did you?

The Flyers just sent out an email selling tickets for four public skating sessions to be held at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday, January 7. All jokes aside, I purchased two $60 tickets before posting this.

There are four time slots– 9:45-10:45 a.m., 11 a.m.-12 p.m., 6:30-7:30 p.m and 7:45-8:45 p.m.

Get your tickets quickly, though, ($60 for adults, $40 for kids, $10 to watch), they’re going to go fast. Of course, if the spots fill up, I’d imagine that the NHL will be selling bottles filled with water from the ice surface.
