Speaking to Dave Isaac, Scott Hartnell said what we all kind of assumed about the Flyers’ captain– that his teammates would kill themselves if that’s what he wanted:
“We’d follow him to the Ben Franklin Bridge and jump if he led the way.”
Beautiful. That’s a real captain. Claude Giroux is a great captain. Claude Giroux…
Whatever.
Back to Hartnell’s quote. Just shows that Giroux may be the leader we thought he could be. Really reminds you of another guy with a dedicated following:
