Scott Hartnell Has a Kickstarter for a Beer Cooler Named “The Naked Cooler”

This is the most Canadian hockey player thing ever.

Adam Patterson and his partner, Scott Hartnell, of whom you may have heard, posted their Kickstarter campaign for THE NAKED COOLER. It’s a beer cooler, with a window, cup holders, and a customizable configuration. And dare I say… it looks awesome:

GODDAMMIT THAT’S BRILLIANT IN ITS SIMPLICITY.

They’re calling it the new king of summer, a slogan that would only be made better by getting King Henrik involved, now that his season is over.  As we know, Hartsy and Henrik have a bit of a chirping past.

Hartnell (who made $5 million this season) and Patterson are looking to raise $200k to cover production costs, and plan to ship by next March. They’ve already raised $11,500 in what looks to be under two days. And Hartnell, I’m guessing, is little more than an investor and, um, qualified tester of all things beer and naked.

You can back the project here. $80 gets you a first-run cooler (they will sell for $150), but hurry, those early-bird options are almost gone.
